My problem here is that,the shortcuts won't work.Can anyone fix that problem so that I can animate faster again?

Try restarting your Flash. If it doesn't work, restart your computer. If that doesn't work, try to uninstall and install it again if you still have the installer with you.

I seriously doubt it's an installation issue, idk why he suggested that. what kind of shortcuts are you talking about?

most likely the tool shortcuts
like 'm' for magnification 'b' for brush and so on

It's a last resort sort of thing although I don't really recommend it a lot. Since that's the way I solve my problems most of the time, I was guessing if it might work on him too. Plus, he wasn't really specific in how it wasn't working so I just generalized fixing his problem.
