When you start the game, click 1,1,2 on the keyboard to buy 2 more miners and a swordwrath unit and instantly send the 2 ready miners to mining gold. When your first miner is trained send him to mining instantly too. Next, about 4-5 seconds after that miner is finished the swordwrath unit should be spawning, go to the tower by clicking on the minimap, clicking 'space' (to select all units) and then right clicking at the tower so he goes there. Now go back and get the next miner mining gold, by now the first 2 miners should be going to turn the gold in, when they near the base to give the gold, start spamming 2 on the keyboard to get a swordwrath unit ASAP (As Fast As Possible). *If the first unit engages in battle, have him retreat and 'garrison' inside the castle to heal and have the next one replace him*

=If engaged in battle with the first one=
Have him heal when needed >said in above last sentence of paragraph one< and have the other one you just bought replace him and start buying more when possible (1-4, 1 is needed, 2-4 is optional) and when the second one either takes out the enemy or gets low on health:
A:Low health; Retreat and heal
B:Takes enemy out; Go to the tower and start taking it. B2:If more enemies arrive; Send him to heal if badly injured, if not, have him regroup with the newly trained unit.

=If not engaged in battle with first swordwrath unit=
Send the second one about a screens distance behind him, so the enemy doesn't know you have "reinforcements"

If the enemy can outnumber your men (by what you can see) then start getting reinforcements BEHIND the first one, he is basically a scout.

=If engaged in battle with first unit when you have second unit *OR MORE* backup behind him=
Press 'space' and right click in about the middle of the two and then have them meet up before charging **if the enemy is obviously too strong then...*
A:Get backup; Run to the miners and have them help you fight off the units *works if this is a speartron or like 3-4 swordwraths most of the time* **Doesn't work with enemy archers-just go into the base then and have the swordwrath fight them off with backup or have the castle archer do it**
B:Retreat; Get a castle archer if possible, if not, then start buying backup swordwraths and charge when YOU think you can overpower the enemy units.

Whenever the enemy sends units to take out the tower, go to the middle of the tower guy and the backup behind him and click to bring them together, then charge when they are in a group together *(the more the better)* <-- is a good saying for now.

If the enemy charges and you get the backup units to take them out then simply put them in the tower area too now that they have been 'seen' and have the wounded go to 'garrison', or heal. Never show your newly trained units, only add simple amounts of them (1-2) every now and then, to keep the enemy 'un-noticing' of backup since he/she thinks the backup you're sending IS the backup you have, yet you've really got tons more men in the back he/she hath not seen.

When you get your 5th miner, send him to the statue to start getting mana for speartrons and such or powerups **a good early powerup is the rage ability for the swordwrath, they can obliterate speartrons with enough enraged swordsmen** When you outnumber the enemy or the enemy has 'ranged units' get some ranged units of your own, you don't know when they'll come in handy.

Once you have the 5th miner praying, continue and get the 5th,6th,7th,and 8th miner (of mining gold) in time, once you have those, get 2 more miners to pray (you really don't need more than 3 miners praying, for they get mana very quickly.

I suggest getting Miner rush, Passive Income, Giant Growth, and Tower Spawn once your good and set off.

***REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR MINIMAP IF YOUR 'scout', or lone swordwrath-tower-guardian is getting attacked, to bring in the 'backup' :3***

Well, the rest is on your own. This is good for me so far, and im at 1400 rating. Here is a video of me using some (if not all) of my tactics I've talked of in this "essay" I'd say.

I'm not trying to be a wet towel, but certain strategies tend to work at different levels. You'll find the need to adapt your strategy if you wish to continually rank up in SE. Although it may work now, you may want to peruse the forums for tips and strategies. Nice effort on the lengthy read though!

Actually, it works quite well for 'all' maps.

Not for short maps, where Sword and Archer kills your Sword before you can get your second sword out. But it's not bad for a 1400 level. I expect you can get fairly high (1600-1700 maybe?) before the strategy becomes unusable.

Ahem, one sword gets pwned in almost every situation I can think of, except on a long map where you retreat before an archer has a chance to forward kite you (sword is slightly faster than archer, makes no sense to me for various reasons...) since on a short map a sword and archer is almost the only strategy and will destroy you. On a medium map, people usually go for 2 swords 1 miner and then rage out (ability, not like ragequit) which will also beat you if you don't have more swords, or again, sword and archer.

On a long map, yea as I said owned in almost every way mentioned above.

I skimmed through this, looking for key terms on whether I should read.

"Miner Rush" and "1400" made me not xD

Don't mind the pros; they're just being friendly. Wait until stickman sees this... he's going to tear into you.

Anyway, This probably wins you 3 or even 4 fights out of 5 in the 1400s, but the guys here are touchy when the strategies posted aren't made for 2000s plus. So don't get discouraged when they snap at you for posting noob threads.

Still, it's impressive that you came up with this on your own; even if only on grass hills, this might still be the best strategy up until the 1800s.

A few things...
1. Although you are new to the forums, you should check out the rules. One of them is against double posting. If you were the last one to post and have more to say, edit your preliminary post.
2. Good strategies work at all levels.
3. Care to play a game?

I personally always start with Archer/Sword... unless the game has changed since I was away? Nice strategy I suppose.

On a side note, it would be nice if I'm not banned this time around. Too much to ask?

Thanks.
