Alright gang, it's time for an awesome speed art battle steel cage death match Royale.

This is how this is going to work. I'm going to host one or two speed art competitions about every two weeks for the next who knows how long. I'm going to be doing at least six of these if people actively participate. I can't promise anything if you guys dont want to do this.

Each competition will follow the following format.

Default Program: None. You can use any program that you feel confident enough using.
Default Size: At least 500x500.
Maximum Participants: There is no maximum amount of participants for this.
Theme: To keep this a speed art battle, the theme will be released on the day of the competition to keep people from getting a head start.
When: Fridays. I will post the theme and start the battle Friday mornings. This competition will be over in the next two to three weeks, so be active!
Time to Complete: Everyone will have approximately 24 hours to finish and post their entry.
Points: The community will vote for the winner in an open poll. I will award points based on the votes received and the amount of participants.
Bonus Points: I will award bonus points to participants who are active and encouraging of others. You will also receive bonus points for advertising these competitions in your signature and to your pals over on IRC.
How to Join: Post in this thread and request to be added to the list. I want as many people to join this as possible, but you have to be an active member of the forum or IRC to participate. This will be based off of your post count and overall presence around the forum.

I will be flexible with the dimensions. You should use a much larger size, though.
If there is not enough spaces on the poll for every participant, I will select the images that I feel are of the highest quality and put them in the poll. If your image does not make it to the poll you will still be given a significant amount of points for participation!
There will be a reward of $20-$60 for the winner of this competition. Keep in mind that in order to be eligible for this reward you must participate in every competition. Keep in mind that I hold every right to limit the reward based on the quality of your artwork. There isn't a single member on this forum that I don't think is capable of earning the maximum cash pot. With the bonus points that I will be giving out, anyone can be a winner.

Depending on how things are going for me at the time, I will offer the second place and third place participants a cash pot as well. Second place with be 50% of first place, and third shall be 50% of second places cash pot.
Keep in mind that in order to receive a reward you must compete in all of these competitions. We must also make it to at least the sixth competition. Feel free to advertise and get your friends to actively participate in this too.

Note: I will be participating in every competition, but I will not be added to the poll to receive ratings as it wouldn't be fair to everyone else.

The first competition date will be set once we reach 7 participants excluding myself. I will be warning everyone around the forum and on IRC when the timer is about to start.
Remember: This is for fun, which is why I encourage everyone to advertise this and encourage everyone to actively participate in each round. I will not hesitate to exile anyone who negatively criticizes participants.

Like I said in the original post, you don't have to be the best to win. You're going to be at a good advantage, but it isn't guaranteed. The point of this is to bring the community together in a friendly competitive atmosphere. It's to practice your artistic abilities and take a shot at winning some cash, bro. I have a lot of things I'm going to be handing out bonus points for. If PlasmaGhost wins the first round and gets ten points, then someone who got five points from votes could also get five bonus points and be tied for first. Anyone and everyone can and will receive a bonus in every round.
