I hadn't heard that this was happening, and now that I have it makes me sad. Play WoW if you want the fantasy MMO experience. Elder scrolls is about being the only one in the world who can save the day. It is single player.

I guess it doesn't really affect me if I'm not going to play it, so I shouldn't complain.

Exactly. There wont be anything special about your charactor, every other person you come across would have done the same thing. And the gameplay i suspect will be dumbed down alot for younger players, as well as the graphics being "MMO'ized".
