What I could improve on and which one is better?

The lines of the muscles are greatly bolded, which shouldn't be necessary. Try thinning them, making them a tad shorter, and gradually trim the edges of the lines so it flows neatly.
The stance is awkward~ It seems incredibly 2D (which might be what you're going for..) but it doesn't show any good dimension or perspective examples.
Not quite sure what you did with the torso... the chest is too small in comparison to the body (referring the white area) and the abs decrease in size as they descend? They should really stay close to the same size, and maybe decrease slightly.
The arm to the left (or its right) has a very awkward forearm. It seems too scrawny for a guy like him and it doesn't blend nicely with the rest of his arm.
~The colored one is my favorite simply because it has some use of shading... I like the cape~
