I was lying in bed when I caught a glimpse of my foot and saw the dark spot left behind after being bitten by a spider on the skin between my ankle bone and Achilles' tendon. I've had the that mark for over one or two years now.

Anyway, I got curious and I'm making this thread to ask/discuss stuff like this. Do you have a scar or mark that looks like it will probably stay forever? How did you get it?

I also have a slight bent/squashed fingernail on my right middle finger after a draught pulled a door towards me and the metal locking part crashed into my hand, mashing my finger and making me bleed from under my nail.

About my spider bite: I was standing on a basketball court when I felt a pricking on my foot. I pulled my pant legs up a bit and saw a small brown spider latched onto my foot, biting me. I pulled the moffuggu off and dropped it on the floor. Some time later, I think I was limping around a hospital. They told me that I couldn't get antivenom because, I hadn't brought the spider to identify it. So, I took some antibiotics or something and watched my skin turn every color of the rainbow. You see, spider venom is basically enzymes(like what saliva has to break down food) and it hurts your blood, skin or whatever cells. It causes something called necrosis where basically your cells just die after being destroyed by the venom, making your skin turn black and die and all that stuff. So, there I was hoping for the life of me that necrosis wouldn't destroy my already purple skin cells. The spider looked like a brown recluse but, I thought that it might have been something else since the effects weren't too bad. Now I see this dark spot and think it might be the result of some minor necrosis. I have concluded that the spider must have been some kind of young brown recluse.

When I was 3 years old, I was playing a game with my cousin at his house. I was running to a small porch on the side of his house while he was chasing me, but one thing is, I DIDNT KNOW HOW TO TIE MY SHOES. I left my shoes loose and never asked for any help. Anyway, I tripped over the lases and my forehead hit the end of a concrete step of the porch. I was bleeding out my forehead so much that you couldn't even see my face anymore. My aunt called the ambulance and then my mom. They took me to the ER and stitched it close. About like 3 days later, it opened again, and I was bleeding more. This time the doctor closed it with a specific type of a glue type substance. It never opened again. But the scar, oh that damn scar, is right on my forehead, clear as day. If you feel it, it feels like a bump in my skull, but im not sure if it is the skull, or just a permanent bump on my skin.

Scar.

I have a giant slice of skin that was just torn off on the side of my elbow from skating and a big mark in the middle of my left palm.

Elbow: I was going down a really steep slope on a cruiser at about 25mph and halfway down the slope I got speed wobbles and crashed to the ground, landing on my left arm and dragging it on the ground all the way to the bottom.

Palm: I was writing in class and dropped my pencil, and being the ninja that I am, I quickly tried to grab it before it hit the ground but instead I hit it at an angle where the pencil pointed straight up and I drove it halfway through my hand. So now the pencil is stuck in my hand and it hurt a lot and blood was coming out, but I didn't yell or grunt or anything, I was just like "Huh..". I got up and started walking towards the door and just said without looking at my teacher "I'm going to the nurses office" and right before I left, I waved at everyone (who were now all looking at me for leaving class) with the hand that had the pencil in it. I left and I could hear girls scream and "eeeewwwww".

The pencil completely penetrated your hand? Damn man.

Also, does anybody else have a story related to dangerous animals?

I also have a scar on the entrance of my armpit. I liked Assassins Creed at the time, ALOT. So I made a crappy looking sword that was actually VERY SHARP on the end of it. One day in 2010, I was -stupidly- holding the blade under my arm with the sharp end pointing upwards. My sister was showing me a Pop-up scare videos, and so, it scared the hell out of me. My arm ended up pierced with the blade deeply into skin, so much that you couldn't see most of the tip of the sword anymore. It took me about 5 seconds to realize that the blade was in my arm, and scream. Luckily , there was a hospital literally RIGHT in front of my house, so it didnt take long to get there, obviously.

When I was a child my mother bought some kind of gimmicky potato slicer thing. It was so sharp that you were supposed to use some sort of safety precaution, but I elected not to for some reason.
Long story short I damn near sliced the top of my thumb off. It was gross you could see the fat and bone, blood spurting out.

Just one of many.

How old were you? Having a sword in such a position is friggin' retarded. Please don't ever strap a sword or other weapon to your back. Don't, unless it's a bow or quiver.

I broke my arm once when I was jumping on a trampoline, and they made a mistake when they tried to fix it so they had to open my arm, put in a spike, let me have it for a few months and then take it out. The scar's gonna stay on my arm forever, but I'm cool with it since it looks pretty cool. I have the spike in my shelf :)

I was 11 yrs. Yeah and tell me about it, that shit hurt. My parents forbid me to make weapons after that moment, but I started making weapons around the middle of last year, and my parents did show cautiousness, but did allow me to as long as it wasn't made of any type of metal, so I usually prefer bamboo that naturally grow in Florida.

I have a scar right next to my right eye. When I was like 6-7 years old at school, after going to the bathroom I went to wash my hands, and I don't know why the floor had a lot of soap on it, I stumble and hit my head against the sink. I obviously fell unconscious and then I just remember waking up in my house's bed lol.
