Don't worry, there's no set standard. (But please upload export your animation as a .swf and upload that, rather than the .fla, or we'll have to download it to view it; it's easier to just be able to simply view it.)

Yo, perhaps next time you can upload it in the Community Animations section. There people will see it, tell you if it's any good, critique and tell you how to improve. Here, well, it's different.

The concept is good, but here are some points you should improve toward the animation itself, not the story:
-You should keep your stickfigures in the white zone when you draw them, think of the white zone like a television or the screen on youtube, if it's outside we can't see it.
-I can see that your sticks are a bit shaky, they move when they are not supposed to (except if you want it that way) try using the onion skin under the timeline (the icon with two squares, pick the one you like the most between the three) it will help you see where your previous drawing was in the previous frame though preventing it to be shaky.

Also I made it quick, but I made ''my'' version of your anim (animation) with less shakyness, better FPS (frames per seconds, basically the higher it is, the faster the animation will be, but also the more frames you gotta do)I hope it helps :D

BTW I recommend that you go watch on youtube Hyun's tutorials on stick figures, he is really good and he will teach you most of the things you need to animate good stick figures animation :)

Don't forget that I did it quick :P http://filz.us/Vj9
