We have an Out of Sync counter and we can also see all players rec games as far back as their first games. We have already started to ban players with very high OOS % rates, and maintain this on a daily basis.

Recently a player named "Found" was abusing OOS to gain ranking. We have dropped his rank from 2500 down to 2100 as a warning, with a second strike as a Ban and IP ban. And will be watching him and others that try this closely. The sad part of this is that Found is a really strong player and from watching some of his replays he is one of the best in the game. Perhaps without cheating he can bring his rating back up and prove himself once again.

If I may suggest (if your willing to), Make an unranked mode "Play Unranked Match" and if a player has a high OOS % rate, he will be temporarily not allowed to rank, but still allowed to play unranked

This is also a benefit to people who just want to practice/play without risk of rank loss :)

UnstopableForce Broke the game, to the point of 20 min = 5 seconds of gameplay, Do you really want a guys that take 4 hours to play in 3 min in Stick Empires? I don't think anyone does.

He pays for SE; and its not his fault that he lagged at that time.

If i convince him to forfit when he lags, is there anyway he can be let back?

Can you give him one more chance? This was his first strike; and Im sure it was accidental. If it happens again (which it wont) then you ban his account. Isnt that how its done? Found received a warning, why does UnstopableForce not?

He was never banned anyway.

he had an ip ban this morning. I hope hes unbanned now.

No, anyone who lags 20 minutes for 3 seconds of gameplay gets banned, if he ever was, as CJ is refuting. I sure as heck don't want to have to deal with a game like that. :|

Agreed. Also, on the subject of UnstoppableForce, I've had him freeze me; i.e. The game wasn't slow; it wasn't moving at all, with a very controlled lag counter (went from 13 to 1, then stopped, slowly reset back to 13). I don't know what it is, but it doesn't happen all the time, so it may not be intentional. Still, game breaking indeed.
