it's nicely made, but I lost interest fairly quickly, it all seemed very similar.

Well hm, the first thing I'd like to say is, love your animations, regardless of how it turns out and never make excuses, be confident of them and keep an open mind.

So a few things about the animation (I see it's unfinished), I like the menu style you did, apart from the text and a few colors because it was a little hard to read. The intro was pretty neat. It seemed a bit too long because some parts were a bit stretched. The music choice initially was nice but then it went out of tune of the animation. I like how you angled the environment and showed the buildings now and then to give that "s***'s going down" effect. The length of the animation is really good. What I'd say is, try bringing an original style to your animation and everything about it. Think of something entirely new, mess around, experiment, creating your own style. Once you do that, your animation quality will improve because you are working in your own custom-comfort zone. It didn't stand out to me in many ways, but overall it was a really good effort. Nice job!

I like your spirit; and how you want to make it even better now, and you will! Just practice more.

I cannot wait to see both your and mark's completed battles.
My only advice is to keep your gladiator closer to redblade, that way he doesnt need to keep jet boosting himself back at redblade. It seems rather repetitive having to watch him charge at redblade after clashing swords and then ending up like a mile away from him as pio-za is moving too fast. Keep the action controlled and compelling rather than predictable . Your effects are good but the choreography and combat sequence is just as important so work on that as well.
