Whenever I try to import mp3 files it says 'One or more files were not imported because there were problems reading them.' Is there any way to fix this?

Use Audacity and turn it into a wav. It's free and that's how I do it

This may depend on the fact that Flash can only accept project rates up to a certain frequency such as 44100 Hz for .mp3 files. This can be altered by re-exporting your .mp3 file in Audacity to a .wav or .mp3 (exporting .mp3 files only work if you have the LAME Encoder in Audacity).
Audacity exports your .mp3 file at a lower frequency because of its default project rate if you couldn't already import the original .mp3 into Flash, so you should be all set.
Hope this fixes your problem Silv! :)
