The last tournament was epic. People will definitely take part, it just needs to be well advertised. A thread that stands out... Also people will be more inclined to watch, spread the hype and enter if the competition is likely to provide top quality anims. If the tournament features popular top standard animators like Supranova, Nhazul, Terkoiz, Stone, Endo, Oxob, etc then it will definitely gain support.

iv'e got a lot of event idea's . but i think its just not good . :| think of a great event and post it here . maybe it would help

By "staff", I mean the people that are specifically tasked to make Stickpage happier. I wouldn't include the global mods in this, because I think they're only tasked to manage the forums.

I'm talking about the section mods. If I recall correctly, section mods are there not only to manage the forum sections, but to enhance their sections and take special care of them.
Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't oxob just a mod because he's supposed to host events? If so, then shouldn't he be doing more of those?

But while I agree that nobody is really obligated to do anything, I think that those who are given responsibility should at least have the initiative to do something.

And yeah, section mods could really jostle their minds a bit and maybe come up with some ideas. Modding just one section isn't too much work.

I guess everyone can make events, but the ones that has higher strit kredz and influence should try and make use of what they have (if they really don't mind to though, of course).

But yeah I guess the community can come up with something by itself if it really wants to.
