I've never animated anyone using swords or other weapons much at all, and for the purposes of RHG and just general animation, I'm trying now.


C&c is welcome as well, mainly on the use of the sword (I don't care about it's look much tbh) and this is the first time I've properly used double framing, so I'd like specific c&c if possible, but any is good. :)

it's good, the motion of the slash is clear, not confusing.
maybe you can make a trail for the slash, it'll make it better.

I tried to add a trail and kept messing it up. :P


I know it's a simple concept to add in, but I've never been able to do it well, anyone know any good tutorials for it?

That's better than what I can do at the moment. It's ironic lol, I'm better at animating tentacles than I am with swords. Most people struggle with tentacles.
