Just reading this now, and I'd have to say that I love parts of the plot.
Although the 3rd is quite bland, you are still able to err-, introduce some invested plots inside it.

Your newest comic is a great deal of efforts, I can see it, but the part where "I don't want to use this" of Jade is kinda anti-climactic. It's exciting, yes, but not exciting enough. You should've used better cliff-hanger. Bur overall this is still left me with a decent amount of impression. Just keep trying to introduce better cliff-hanger, exciting/tense situations, and also some shocking revelations.
