inspired by me buying a pack of twinkies and trying them and falling in love. how would it go down if you were lets say top 100, and you giant massed or spearton rushed. now your probably thinking, pshh bs thatd be countered easy, but what if lets say wyzdm perhaps got in a match and so expertly did the giant strategy that it would simply over power the opponent, would this work. if not then why not?

giant massing is a petfectly fine strategy, as long as you can pull off the initial tirtle and get a sufficient enough economy to hold your own. Some tops do it well and it is pretty hard to beat if done right.
spearton rushing is a little different. there's not much one can do to improve the viability, and its just a bad strategy overall.
I am numbah 6 I know wut imma talkin boutz
and... twinkies? wut?

WyzDM does giant mass... he does it extremely well. Anyways if you are above 1800s play level as order or about 2.2k skill level as chaos then you are probably able to able counter a spearton rush from him.

Why do players always believe giant massing is a bad strategy? It's a legitimate strategy that tanks a ton of damage. Giant/Mage is basically the end-game composition mixed with other units.

If you start to realize that they're using the giant/mage strat, it is easily countered by the 6 mage/swordwrath strat. All you have to do is get a bunch of swordwrath focused on one giants and repeat.

6 Magikill?
isnt that excessive its better to use a combonation of different units
if the opponent produces a shadow he could take out a few and the giants will kill the remaining. before they become a threat unless you plan on killing 9 giants with 30 pop in Magikill and whatever the amount is left in a shitload of praying miners and swords

I don't even...6 mage/swordwrath strategy? Do you want test that theory? Mage spells will kill all your swordwrath, then giants just micro in and anim cancel-chase mages. Simple. Although, no goes just giant/mage, unless you're in like, 1600 or something. I said "Giant/Mage is basically the end-game composition mixed with other units."
So, a giant or two, a mage or two, a few merics, a shadowrath, some spears and archers, aka basically everything will be in eventually. If I was using giant as my main army, I'd go Giant/Meric/Mage/Shadow (against their mage).
