Learning piano is fun and it isn't really that hard. If you don't want to learn how to read notes then you can always look up Synthesia videos from youtube and learn from that.
However if you DO learn to read notes then you can get more out of playing and it'll be even more fun.

Yeah I have already started on learning music theory.
Rhythm is hard to get your head around at first. Especially with changing time signatures ect. But I'm getting there.

Download synthesia from the website (google "synthesia") and you can get links to midis from youtube. Just import the midis into synthesia, and you're all set! (that's how i taught myself)

Yeah I will probably do that as well.
Ended up ordering a Privia PX-150. Was looking into the Yamaha P-95/105 however I couldn't find it for a decent price in Australia. It supposedly has slightly better sounds, but that doesn't really matter when you can just replace the default sounds anyway. Also, it's said that the PX-150 has better key action, so that's the obvious choice in this case.

First tune I have ever learned (only first 20 seconds of the song so far. Grand piano+strings):

I am also giving moonlight sonata a go (only the beginning of the first movement obviously). I would get wrecked by the rest of it.

Really coming along so far. And loving it.
I have learned portions of several songs including:
Sadness and Sorrow
Fur Elise
Moonlight Sonata (mv.1)
Morning Remembrance
Cloud Atlas
There are parts in most of them that I obviously will have no chance doing at the moment (ie. the 2nd part of Fur Elise, and Most of Moonlight Sonata) but it's nice learning what I can. Haven't bothered with any music theory yet. I have a good book at the ready which I am about to begin using which should introduce these concepts to me and hopefully remove some of the bad habits I am currently using.
So far I seem to have a fairly decent ability to remember songs, as I haven't forgotten anything yet. But then again, I don't know all that much.

If you go to any music store, there are a ton of books for beginners. I'm not sure, but I think they're intended for children, so they have a bunch of pictures (the ones that I used to have). You should look for theory books to get to know the rythym, notes, the key and time signatures, etc. Btw how do you spell rythym...?
and I just now realized that you are doing quite well already and you're the guy who said to stop saying like right? I stopped.
