Post your creepy experiences either home alone or with someone, as long as it's just at your home. Or someone's home that you are staying.
Anyone here may help anyone solve out what made that creepy occurance.
Imma start first. Sorry if you dun understand.
If this thing was made like, before, before before, before before before, then I'd want a mod to bin this and edit the entire text into whatever shizz they want to type.
When I was going to bed, I ditched my sleeping time. I opened my ipad, hiding inside my blanket, with my brightness in its dimmest light. I surfed around the internet, until around 11:26 pm, a sound just bopped in. The sound was like, someone throwing or bumping a garbage can, throwing something in that swinging lid what do you call that. I ignored it, thinking it was just something. Continued surfing around, the sound happened again, this time, with a bounce, much like a recoil. I was starting to wonder what made that sound, gladly I didn't start to freak out so much I scream, because my sister is just beside me. I ignored it again. Still continued surfing around *cough* the forums *cough*the internet. And then, the sound happened again. I was ignoring it, it kept happening until 11:55pm (approximately, I forgot the exact time lol). I finally have the urge to ask my sister, even tho she was perfectly asleep. She said she doesn't know, but she also heard it, maybe while she was sleeping. I continued until 11:58, and the sound is still occuring, pissing and scaring me off. I never even ever attempted to look back, luckily there was a mirror near us, so I looked at the mirror (we have night light btw, I can barely see the mirror's reflection) and there was nothing. I just went to sleep. Even though the sound is still occuring.
The thing is: no one was ever near our garbage can, everyone in the house excluding me was asleep, and who would throw something multiple times in 11:30 pm where everyone except me (again) was asleep? That's the thing that started to scare and piss the living soul out of me. And, the night light wasn't always bright like, light bulb bright right? That also scared me more.
Also, the garbage can was small. Much like 1/3 of a leg. The sound wasn't loud like, loud loud tho.

I sleep on the top floor of the house, and there's an attic above me. However, the attic is completely empty and creepy and dark (Ive been up there only one time myself). So one day when I was reading before bed, directly above me there was a humongous crash that sounded like a dresser full of clothing falling over. The sound was so loud that it echoed through the house, and since I was really into my book it scared the living shit out of me.
I still don't know what caused that noise, though. There was nothing that could have made it.

So there was this moment when I was home alone in my house. There was absolutely no one in the house but me. I was watching TV until I heard some kind of noise. The noise sounded like footsteps and banging as if it was from a person. I checked around the house but there was nobody there.
One thing that disturbs me more is that this thing sometimes occurs when I am home alone.

It might be mice if you have tile / wooden flooring. This happens to me as I prepare to go to bed most nights, although I don't have wooden/tile flooring, so I have no clue what mine is.
The creepiest thing about my house is that an entire wall of the bottom/basement is a window. At night, this makes everything very dark, cold, and creepy. Perhaps the scariest/creepiest thing that has happened in my house occurred when I was home alone and it was late at night. I drink lots of water, so frequently have to get up in the night to head to the bathroom. As I was crossing the basement from my room to the bathroom, blurry-eyed, I notice some movement outside. I stiffened like a cat and looked out the window. What I saw was a giant (I mean HUGE) black dog standing outside. I ran into my room, grabbed a bat , walked back out, and it was still there. I really didn't think I could have done much to this dog, so I tried not to provoke it. I definitely wasn't going to open the slider to let it in. It was monstrous, and looked pretty mean. It also didn't have a collar on. I turned around, went back in my room, and held it for the night. There was no way I could take that dog down if it tried to attack. Ramming the glass wouldn't have fazed it at all. I don't think a good swing with my bat would have injured it much. That scared me horribly.
I'm a lot more inclined to be scared of things I can prove are real than "ghosts". That thing was huge. I hope animal control caught it.

This still happens from time-to-time.

This will be short, because I honestly don't know what happens and its a quick thing, but sometimes I feel like someone is leaning against my bed. Sometimes, I feel one side of the mattress being pushed down, and other times, my bed just shakes faintly, soft enough where it's undetected, but if you're on the mattress, you'd definitely feel it.

Your ghostly lover is paying you a visit. Tell him we all said hi.
As for odd occurences, how about my mom and I seeing Unseelie Fae dancing about our ceiling at night when we lived in Hendersonville? Trust me, there is nothing more terrifying than that if you know what they are.

I'm a dude... But, I did say hi to him just before we played naked twister.
Also... Lay off the LSD.

Rosie's story really gave me the creeps. You should set up some cameras and see what's happening XD
About a year ago, i was in my brothers room downstears by a really dark hallway that led to our carage (we had the door open so that we saw perfectly to the carage door). At exactly 12.00 o'clock we heard a can dropping sound from the carage (sounded just like someone dropped a can). First we didn't mind but then it happened again about 30 secs. apart. Nether of us didn't have the courage to go look and just went to sleep after that. It doesen't sound very creepy but we were both very much afraid especially when it happened precisely at the midnight.

You sure it was a can? Do you have any cans in your garage? If so, you sure your garage is closed and not a single feel of wind comes by?

That's the joke. It was a gay joke. It was implying that you are gay.

Feel lucky, you shall be some of the first people to hear about this.
A few weeks ago, probably about two, I was going to sleep, thinking about random shit. When I hear what sounds like something being dragged. Against my hardwood floor. I thought nothing of it and went back to trying to sleep. Then, I heard my closet door creak. Please keep in mind that my room is always closed, and no wind can ever possibly go through it, so of course, this scared the living fuck out of me. For the next two minutes I heard slight creaks in the closet door. Before it just stopped. And the feeling of me being watched dropped onto me. I never turned around, and I never made a sound. And eventually, I fell asleep, only to wake up the next morning with nothing out of the ordinary. And I know for a fact that I was awake.

Sometimes I felt I was watched by higher beings.
Like I'm in a movie or something.
Then I scream: Whoever on the other side of the screen, I can hear ya!
That's the only thing I think is creepy.

Sometimes when I'm alone at home I hear sounds coming from the kitchen. It scares the living shit out of me but I ignore it. I just despise the fact that I have to walk by it to get to the bathroom.
