well i airbrushed it. I cut a stencil for it, thats why it looks defined

Well to get more of an airbrushed effect, on tiny/thin areas, i would have let up on the paint.

yeah it was my first. I'm still trying to get the hang of freehanding with airbrush, because i'm not much of a painter. At the moment I'm working on something that is more freehand.

I agree with that sort of. I find when you actually have something to press against your movements are more accurate. When you don't touch the paper with an airbrush it's a bit harder to make straight lines or just draw things accurately. I normally draw with pencil just because it gives you that "in-control" feeling because you can use your hand to guide it and your applying pressure to the paper with the pencil tip balancing it. Although the more you try Airbrush the easier it will come which I've found with most things. It took me a little bit to adjust.
