The first synth that comes in 5 seconds in is too loud. It's very distorted
The percussion's pretty cool, but I was hoping for some kind of a melody to come in eventually.

correct me if i'm wrong, but it sounded like you were trying to make that sound more organic than your previous songs. try a bit of sampling. If you know any friends who play instruments, try writing up a phrase or something that they could play and you could record and loop.

As a matter of fact, I was going for a organic sound.

it worked, to an extent. it's really hard to do with just synths and pretty crappy FL samples. I liked the flute, though. what's the sample name of it? I'm playing around with FL and it would sound good with this sort of Jazz/Hip-Hop beat i'm making

If you mean the flute noise near the end of the song, it came in the Battery 3 Pack, I think it was called "Viet" something. Can't find it now from some reason.

Odn't electro songs go from
basic kicks and hihats
then to more basses and pads
then back to bases and kicks ?
anyways you should make that pad in the background a bit lower.

electronic songs don't have to follow a template..
