And the "show your fucking real name on the comments section" is the thing that made me feel disappointed in YouTube. If you want us to use our real names, why bother make user names? I'd rather agree for our real names to appear in our "about me" section and shit, but why in the comments? You're embarassing the users, well some.

Google, I like how the way your are, only a godamn search engine, better than any other else, but why take over Youtube's social communication and make a shit social site?

Also, for the truth, I don't see to mind. Just gone ftw mode after watching the videos.

I still don't like how it links me to the same video if I want to see the previous comments. YouTube's comments are always hilarious, and they fucked up that place the most.

The improving the comments bullshit is just an excuse to forcefully implement the completely unnecessary Google +. Considering how some of the media were convinced by it, it worked to some extent. Just by scrolling through the comments of a random video, you would see that their so called plan to clean things up actually went into the opposite direction. The top comments is essentially just another list of comments that has your occasional filth. Except now the filth can comprise of unlimited characters and post links.

Every change made to Youtube so far is self destructive. Channel recommendation, the one design, the general layout of the site. They strip away functions that weren't broken with a poorly designed mess. I am amazed at their ability to make what was essentially shit, better looking. I swear they must be scraping their designers from the bottom of the barrel.

There are alot of assumptions being made, and none of them have hit the mark. For example, remember a time when your homepage allowed you to discover random videos, rather having to rely on their fail as fuck recommendation system (that shows me the same video I watched 10 seconds ago!!!). They are trying to create some algorithm for personal preferences while taking away the users ability to choose for themselves, leaving you with a computer telling you what to watch. Now isn't that a grand vision.

I fear that Youtube in a few years time would become something that is intolerable. And that would be a sad time indeed.

i hate the new comment system . its goddamn bullshit . whats the use of hashtags there ?

the old one has to be back , its way better , and i agree with raptor , chrome just gets worse and worse just because it became popular or something . :|

Someone has already said this, but one of the features I thoroughly miss is the Uploader's Comments section; now questions that have been answered by the uploader will once again be needlessly asked.

I havent really noticed any of the problems, just that annoying "would you like to appear as ... or ..." shit that shows up.

Google should be celebrating their over 50M G+ users by now.

The recommendation thing is bullshit as ever, it keep recommending me some kiddie land videos, why would I even watch barbie and some useless kinder egg show casing video? My lil sister only watched a few, like 4, some the same, and now it keeps popping up in my screen, and omg I just want to...aarrggghhhh.

I even subscribed to some great youtubers and youtube doesnt recommend their videos. Fuck.

Let's just hope that Youtube fix this BS and CLEAR UP GOOGLE+. I'D RATHER HAVE THE 2012 YT.

I like to comment on things I see but my channel wasn't automatically linked to Google+ so I can't say anything without going to a different account it bull**** in my opinion

I've noticed quite many hopeful discussions in the comment section, under certain channels' videos.

Also, most of the terrible changes wont be noticeable to the general user but the authors. Look at the horrible spam filter, the awful new way of reading comments and replying to them, the new arranging system that arranges comments by the persons popularity on google+, not actual relevance or usefulness in regards to the video.

Overall these most recent changes can possibly suit the average user who only has a single channel and doesn't upload videos, but for those that require connection to their fan-base the changes are simply awful.
