@jcpd910,do u trace that axe?well,u'll need blade's confirmation for u to get in.BTW,yeah kiryu is right.the way u put the gradients is wrong,but good try for a start

I do grid work, where you make points where the points should be, than use slope formulas to ensure accuracy. Just kidding I just guess. :D

I used reference pictures. I have a grid that I use to and place it on the canvas and then on the image. I don't know how to get the image to copy to the canvas, so it's like doing one of the child puzzles where you draw in a grid based on different segments of a picture. :D
It's actually incredibly easy.

A word of advice, jcp. It is best not to use the built in gradients that come with the standard flash product. They are too clashing with the gradients that are in your swords. Also, you might want to remember where exactly a light source will be coming from when you add details to your swords.
They have greate style and shape, but the shadowing (gradients) are conflicting. Try imagining the swords as if you were holding them in real life.
Also, the sword on the left, in particular, has a rather awkward handle.
