Hello. I am brand new here and I want to partake in the stick figure animation competitions that go on (RHG, BSE, etc.). How can I start my stick animations? I mean I know to get Adobe Flash Pro. or other animation software, but where do I start? Can someone teach me?

Welcome to Stickpage Bluur! I hope you enjoy your stay. In my opinion, starting out on animation isn't something to follow by procedure. It's a personal process really. I'd recommend starting out by drawing stick figures over and over and over again in different poses (As I did). While it doesn't add to animation, it allows you to get a feel for drawing the stick figures and allows you to animate more leisurely when you do decide to animate. When that happens go and check out the tutorial section and see if you can find some good lessons to learn from.

I mean hey bluur you should totally talk to me when you get situated I can get you through the basics of RHG. Personally I know nothing about BSE.
