So a successful Thanks Giving just rolled by, and I was wondering if any of your families are more interesting than mine. Do you have any weird traditions or activities you do with your family and friends?

We have a tradition where we live in Canada and do nothing at all because we totally celebrated Thanksgiving in October ;) ;) ;)

Putting plastic trees in Christmas? I usually do that with my family.

Rolls. We have WAY too much fucking bread. For some reason, literally every person we have brings rolls. Not gravy, not stuffing. Not mashes potatoes, no bread.
...
And it's all gone the next day.

Thursday is a school day. Traditionally my family has gone to school. Except dad, because he doesn't work in a school.
The mistake was posting a thread for Americans just after they all went to sleep and at the same time as the real people were waking up. Don't worry; you'll do better next time.
To contribute vaguely to the topic: I have an American friend whose sister sent her a picture of a pie, because she knew she couldn't get the same kind of pie here. I guess that means some people have a tradition of pie.

My family likes to follow a tradition that my grandpa started when he was a kid. We eat thanksgiving "dinner" early, then go out for a long run until we're hungry again. Then we come back and do it again until it's dark. After it's dark the kids get a bunch of candy and the adults go drink on the balcony and maybe let the kids have a sip. After everyone is finished eating and drinking we find a movie to watch together and whoever falls asleep last gets a reward the next day. My legs hurt.

I remember a thread similar to this.
Into topic, Philippines, yes, do you see how early we are at celebrating it? Like, at September, we afe already putting up decorations.
In my region, there isnt any tradition I know yet.

Hispanics (not sure if all) have 'Noche Buena' the night before Christmas and traditionally we kill a pig and roast it in a 'chinese box'. The pork is usually eaten either with rice and beans or in a cuban bread sandwich called 'Pan con Lechon'.
