guys!
i need some helps over here, by all means this is serious, and i will VERY VERY appreciate it if someone can answer this :))
okay here's the question.
i'm going to buy a laptop, but i am still at confusion about which to buy, but i do know what i want it like.
point 1. i want it ASUS branded.
point 2. the laptop MUST be colored white.
point 3. i want it to be at least ABLE to open some multimedia application, browser, videos, music, and game at once, (i'm not going to open ALL of that at the same time, lol, but i want it to be able to do that so i won't have to worry about the operating speed.)
point 4. i have a budget like $501 (dollar) or £ 306 (pound) or €369 (euro) or Rp.6.000.000 (rupiah)
(the currencies all have the same budget, $501 (dollar) i wrote it out so you non-dollar user would have a better understanding.
point 5. if the price is different please not so different from the $501 price, less is good, but not so much, more is not-so-good, but not too far away, i want to have a quality-promised laptop.

i'm TOTALLY dead serious about this, so any help at all i will very appreciate it. thank you guys. :)

okay sorry for the double post,
but i need to bump this so everyone can notice this thread, hehe.

i added extra points that i forgot :
point 6. for the processor at least intel i3 or i5, AMD radeon or other maybe okay, but at least be something that have the same level as i3/i5.
point 7. weight do not matter, (slim is better though, but it's okay)
point 8. it MUST, HAVE a dvd drive (this is very important)
point 9. maybe a private feeling included suggestion is better. but it's okay if it's not. (i mean something like you are using this laptop, and you know that laptop is good)

I don't know too much about the appearence of laptops but if you want a laptop that runs a lot of applications at the same time, I recomend you a proc. of 2,5 GHz and a RAM of 6-8 GB now to make the games look god-like and AMD or Nvidia videocard shoukd do the trick. Try to look in some store's website about this, choose these aspects and then according to the results chose the color and trademark or whatever you want.

Don't double post please ♥.

For that price you probably aren't going to find anything with a GPU, which means you can only play lightly intensive games. I will tell you right now, there is no benefit to using the ASUS brand over others. You're just limiting your options.

I don't know much about laptops, but I took a little look around. Prices for these vary from place to place, but you should be able to find them under $500 US.

Acer Aspire V5 (look around and you can find it under $500 US):

Samsung QX410-J01:

Acer Aspire V3-551-8458:

Lenovo IdeaPad S400:

Really you just have to google around. Forget the ASUS only mindset though. It's only rather limiting to only want white. Many of these suggestions are silver, but you can probably order white versions. Good luck.

Lenavo y510p is epic but a little expensive. It can handle almost anything bt doesn't fit your desires.
it has 1tb memory
i7 core
backlit keyboard
and 8 mb of ram.

Its 730 dallors right now for black friday but its worth the price. it isn't white though.

The envy touchsmart m6 sleekbook is a cheaper silver computer with a i5 core and 8mb ram. Its pretty good and only around $599. Its also touch screen.

Why does the brand have to be Asus. And why does it have to be white?

Well by saying those two things. He probably removed hundreds of potential choices. He narrowed his search down way too much.

Might be what he wanted. I would've did the same thing, but not specify what color I wanted it. Asus does make some pretty good products

It's not white. Or made by Asus but this is probably the best laptop on the market for it's price, due to it being in such high demand they're only sold refurbished but its still a great laptop and HP has a good rep for refurbishing their computers to near original quality

Yeah, if I'm not mistaken the graphics card is built into the processor.

If you have any problems with the comp then you can overclock the processor and buy a laptop cooler.

hey, my choice and suggest four you to pick Acer Anspire, its really good, i open many programs and there's no cause of lag, but if you play high qulity games, the processer can't take the presure, games like gta iv, gta v and burnout paradise, that what i use it, but iike i when i play gtasa, noag and i like, the lapop can only pick in white and black, it is slim but it's wide, im nub in computers systems, G.Force, Intel Core. Its cost 3,000 MYR, 3,000 X 3.50 = USD
