Very nice update.
Rayze seems to be a rather depressed RHG, that's quite unique.
His personality itself is making him stand out around other RHGs.
The update with the abilities seems about right. Try to not rely on the stages too much though, It's not like he's just gonna stop in the battle and shout "Stage two Shadow powers activate!"
Still very well made, I like it how the excuse for using abilities that are actually rather common is the fact that they are shadow like, and that makes your RHG different too.
I saw your weekly already so I'm not gonna comment on it again.

Also, the "Near death" made me wanna do a really bad pun but I'll keep it to myself for now lol.
