Holy shit, played my first game as leona. 5/1/12, my only death being that I literally suicided into fountain.
She's like a supped up taric.
I had this moment where I had Eclipse primed and tagged Leblanc through the woods with Zenithblade and Shield of Daybreak she hit me with a few abilities and Eclipse exploded on her before she quickly escaped under turret with half her life bar and I still had most of mine.
I stared at my monitor awestruck for a few seconds.
Like, what in the actual fuck? Did I just beat up Leblanc?
This champ can beat up Leblanc, damn.

I've never experienced that before, beating Leblanc in a fair trade.

I never see anyone playing poppy. Is she just a bad champion or was she nerfed to the point where no one even has any fun playing her?

Haha, one game fucking pooppy rekt me and arch in a game. She's fed as fuck and when she goes in to 1v5 she's safe because her ult, as arch puts it, turns her into jesus.

Leona is imo the best support. Tanky as fuck, lots of cc. You can't peel her of you if her e hits unless you flash or stun her or something.

dude, zenith blade is the best thing ever.

I personally prefer braum over leona. Not in lane, but late game, holy fuck. That fucking shield makes him god damn unkillable.

Vizicsacsi plays poppy. He is great at it.

She's not a bad champion: late game she can burst your squishies like nothing and still be able to 1v1 anyone else in the team
Her problem is that she needs 2 major items for her to be somehow viable (Trinity Force and Blad of the Ruined King), but they cost so much that until then you're kinda forced in lane to passively farm and being able to do nothing else
Also, she's one of those champions who can't do shit if they get a counter in lane (Olaf, Darius and Irelia say hi)
Lastly, even if she can erase squishies late game, if she can't kill them during her ultimate she's dead

Basically, it's a champion that brings very little to the team and can be easily outplayed
