Competitive video game playing and maturity tend to be mutually exclusive.

Who do you think is more mature, people casually playing a game for enjoyment, not taking a loss too seriously or the remarkably skilled player who will flip out and put down their team once their teams skills don't measure up to their own.
Many competitive players use their skill as something to hold over peoples heads, it's just another excuse to try and feel like they're better than someone. It's all as immature to me as American football. But people take it so seriously, when essentially you're just running a ball up and down the field for points.

Then you have freaks like me, I play for the enjoyment of playing, but I tend to do so on a competitive level because I find the most enjoyment in that environment.

It really is, I see the game like playing dark souls.
I'll die a few million times in that game, but shit son, when you kill that guy, it's the most amazing feeling ever.

It's sorta like that but with the community.
You can play a hundred games with terrible people, then get one where EVERYONE clicks. Everyone is badass, no fighting.

Top: cho, olaf, mundo, nasus, etc. (i'm a top laner)
Mid: everyone i play got f'd up, ie gragas+xerath. I play some karthus, cho, and ryze mid.
Bot: sivir, about it, and blitz i guess
Jungle: same as my top laners lol

It was a legit penta too, no kill steals, I did the majority of the damage on my kills.

Considering we had a katarina doing her best to KS I think it was a great game for me.
