so yeah, I realized that inorder to become a better animator I had to go brush up and refine my drawing skills. Oh yeah, I just got a new scanner . So I spent the last month drawing poses, sadly I cant post all of them, they're like 150-200 or something, so here are my most recent ones. My pencil strokes are light so i'm sorry if they aren't clear enough.

I finally grew some balls and decided to improve on my digital drawing and painting. so I scribbled this up in like 10 mins and decided to post it. I'll definitely post more of these:p

For some weird reason I Remembered the Super Brawl Comics that several members participated in last year or so http://forums.stickpage.com/showthread.php?53470-Super-Brawl-REBORN!!-(Join-Now!!!)
. So I was bored and decided to add to the story, redraw it and post it. Here is a quick draft I came up with on paper. I decided to do rough versions before doing the digital versions. I'll Post the digital colored versions later.

(Description :Sezeat awakens only to find himself stranded on some weird island. He then tries to remember the events that took place before being transported to the island.)
From reading the comics I interpreted Pox's character Image as a murdering, Homicidal maniac who loves to fight and kill people lol  .

please CnC would very much be apprecaited

Wow. Some of those poses look rather nice. Would you mind if I referenced one or two for my own art?

Anywyay. The digital art piece bugs me... The body is way too angular in most areas. It is still rather impressive given the fact that you admitted to not being "brushed-up" on digital. But yeah, for future reference, try not to make the bodies so angular.

There is one thing I would love to see you attempt. Muscular anatomy. Maybe one page committed to seeing how well you do with both female and male muscular anatomy? I'm interested..

AWAY FROM MY OWN INTERESTS~! I would love to see more work from you.

Thanks alot Chamel for the critique. I'm still trying to get used to the tablet. I'll practice more until it feels natural. You are free to reference them for your art. I have a ton of other poses and drawings lying around lol.

As for Muscular anatomy, well i'm still learning but i'm up to the challenge. I spent most of my time doing gesture and just barely scraped anatomy but I think its time I dive into it.
I'll do some studies and post my drawings.

Your gesture sketches are quite impressive, but try to draw the face from different angles not just from the front side. Try some extreme angles. It could improve your anderstanding of the human facial structure and i don't think that the digital art piece is too "angular" it couls just be your style but don't use the blur tool. It makes your art look amateurish.

Thanks for the critique findood. I'll practice drawing the head from extreme angles. For some reason I just love drawing it from the 3/4 view. I"m still learning though but I guess the best way for me to truly understand facial anatomy is to draw it more from different angles. As for the digital sketch i'll definitely avoid the blur tool from now on. I was so lazy I couldn't blend it properly with the brush tool.

Update: Today, after reading a tutorial on clolor theory and light i decided to give background painting a shot. These are quite rough and were done between 12-15 mins each.
CnC would be appreciated.
