"There it is ," said Kagura solemnly starring out the window. The angel was huge, about the size of a large blimp, and it hung still in the air quite unnervingly. Suddenly out of it'd holes protruded thousands of blue spines. For a second it looked like a pin cushion.
Then, all at once it fired its blue cones which launched in the air and rained down on the area.
"Watch Out!" yelled Kagura, as a spike landed in front of the humvee. It swerved out of control fell on its side and crashed.

Dazed, Jase tried to quickly exit the Humvee.


"Let's go before it shoots another one of those spikes."

Derek braced for impact' and managed to land on his back, not injuring himself or anybody.

Sadaharu bilnked his until his vision became clear as he stumbled out of the wreckage. "How many crashes should we expect to be in this week?" He joked as he tried to push up his glasses which ended up causing one of the lenses to fall apart. Thankfully his sight was so bad that he couldn't try to get up in the van as looked around at his comrades. "Everyone alright?" He asked as he unbuckled himself from his seat.

Jase nodded.
"I'm fine. A few minor scrapes and bruises."

"Great," Sadaharu grunted as he offered a hand through the seats.

"Thanks.", Jase said as he took the offered hand.

In a flash of blue light Kagura's demon appeared.
"I'll head to the main body, you guys split up into groups and try to reduce some of the collateral," Kagura ordered.
"Take me with you I'm sure I can handle it," suggested Rana.
"Not until we know how to beat this thing, you guys barely have any experience. Wait for HQ before you go in"

"Got it."
Jase checked his phone to see if it took any damage.
Good. It didn't take any damage.

Sadaharu nodded as stepped towards his group, "Alright, shall we go guys? Who's going to go with who?"

Jase stepped into the group and said "I guess I'll go with you.". Then he looked at Kagura, "You want me to go to provide back up?"

"No offense but you aren't as mobile as I am and you're still green. I should be fine on my own just scouting. Like I said HQ will notify you when you should approach Gabriel." Kagura replied with a smile.

Sadaharu nodded as he pulled out a new pair of glasses and pushed them into place, "Good luck captain."
