As i can tell from the animation you were either using a ridiculously low frame rate or a massive amount of triple/double frames. Upper the fps level to 24 fps since you seem pretty experienced at the frame rate it is at. This will almost completly remove the choppiness.

Not bad but it could be smoother as atomic said.
