I'm thinking of buying flash cs6 or cs5 (i currently have macromedia flash 8) but i'm not sure which one. I'm not so interested in the coding/actionscript features. I also hate when flash crashes so which one crashes less i would prefer it.

i have a cs6, and it never crashes,
if your computer's spec is good then go with cs6
maybe if your ram is 1-2 giga, consider cs5, cause with that much ram you'll have difficulties opening other apps while animating

I have tryed both and to be honest i found that cs5 crashed much less frequently than cs6. I have never lost my work.
THERE IS however one feature in cs6 which makes me prefer it over cs5.
You can import video and cs6 will seperate it into frames which means you can trace an explosion for example but thats my opinion :P
