My school actually starts on 6th , and i started animating the round right on the day this thread was posted. Scince then iv been working on and off , and i mainly focused on finishing it , ( though that did not stop me from using a complicated bg and angles ) And yeah , i see now why it wasnt wise of me to give a simple clear 2d animation , but still im pretty sure im finishing this before the due date. Sad , i did the same for round 2 but then got short of patience and inspiration and i gave it up. But this time , im really going to force myself to make a finished entry.

The best thing to do is to make an animation, add angles if you want to. After you have a nice, smooth animation, go back and add the backgrounds and effects if time permits. It is a whole lot easier to do it that way.

I'll tel everyone now that I'm not judging this round because I won't be here for it, but if I did judge this round I would probably have a lot more leniency due to the holidays. Unfinished entries would still get the absolute lowest score possible, even if they looked amazing and fell one move shy. It's not fair to those who did participate, and by not participating or submitting your entry, all you're doing is hurting yourself that much more in a competition that is willing to pay you.

Not just for animating and the BSE. This is a life lesson right here. Everytime you agree or decide to make something for any round, you are making a commitment. Commitments are the foundation for anything you do around here; collabs, rhg battles, forum games. If you cant do this round then don't say you will and think you can. That's counter-intuitive.

Edit: in case you don't know, it would be the people who feel they have been cheated and need another week to make a great animation because the time they have now is too crazy. Truth being time they have to browse and argue on the forums could be used for animating instead of complaining. I'm sure your parents won't mind if everyone stayed up 30 minutes extra every night for a shot at winning a couple hundred dollars.

Dude chill out I don't really know who you are trying to impress here but ya' know whatever.
