Because, judge 1 gave the same score to both of them, but judges 2 and 3 favoured Fordz (Frodz lol?) so the average of the 3 is different.

Btw I loved your white character. He was one of the few legitimate creepy characters I've seen here, probably because of how you delivered him (with the sewn up lip and the jumpcuts as he gradually flashes a full fledged smile). There's a lot of characters with creepy smiles in animations here, but most just end up looking too try-hard imo, but yours looked legit psycho.

well anyone can easily tell that FL-Nordin, Fordz and SJT15 put a lot of creativity in thier anims
but fl-nordin deserves more thn sjt15, (in my opinion) if i still have the right to state one, he put more work in to his animation, i also thought the length count, sjt15 was awesome, but short, considering the amount of time they had, they should have been giving a higher mark
anyway, fordz should have won :(

Well in the fact that SJT has a great entry alongside FL's, and to think how much time they both spent on it, I'd go with SJT as second. SJ put a lot of effort in the angles, and much more...but there's one thing I think that's missing: did Kaizen (in his anim) really used the hand cuffs to beat the shit out of his...idk? It states that the object that tied up the character should be included in the fight, and all I can see is a sword. Correct me if I misunderstood it. I also like FL's, but imo the quality is slightly lower than SJ's.
To think to Fordz's, he rushed it within one week and resulted with an awesome anim. You cant believe his reaction when I told him he got second, lel. Anyways, Fordz's has less angles, but shit were smooth in there yet...nhhhh creepy in an awesome way.
idk who the judges are, but I guess I could go tie up with Fordz and SJT...heh...tie up...r3...tied up at the moment...heheh...haha- k.

So for the first time there's a double winner, congratulations Fordz and SJT15.

And Mark, the difference is only 0.2. There are 3 judges remember so such differences are guaranteed to happen when the judging is close (seems judge 2 liked FL's slightly less in comparison).

More effort? How do you even know how much effort they each made? Were you there when they animated? Did you know if maybe they redid more frames than the other yet came up with a simpler output?

And with the length. It's not always better to have a longer output. FL-Nordin's animation just lacked atmosphere. It started out good with the music showing a good relationship between a guy and his broseph, but didn't stay consistent when the chainsaw-less jason guy came. It would've been better if he transitioned to another, more action-packed music. I also don't recall feeling any of the hits. Probably due to the lack of sound or any impact effects. His animation's length worked against him I think because creative as it may be, it got boring and boring as it progressed, and I just got confused. I won't go into the technical aspect because that's not really important with the point I'm trying to get across.

Compare it to fordz's or sjt15's. They were short but action packed. Long enough that they didn't feel pointless, but short enough to keep my attention. The atmosphere built up for fordz, and it stayed strong all throughout for sjt15, which were both good.

Now I'm not saying FL-Nordin is bad. He's cool, really creative. I'm just saying that I disagree with you.
