I'm actually trying to make a 2d platform game and I am kind of stuck... :O
I don't know how to make my character shoot bullets to the right or left only (depending on where he actually faces) by pressing the space key (for example)
I have seen many tutorials but it's almost all about shooting bullets to the mouse location and it's not really what I want.

Actually, my character can run, attack (melee attacks), jump and do an aerial attacks (thanks to the tutorials)

If someone know how to do, please help me!
