The new Batman movie looks actually awesome! The best thing I see is Heath Ledger being the best Joker ever made ever, but it seems that an award could be given posthumously.
Opinions on anything on the movie or such related subjects?

The mere fact that the role killed Heath Ledger means that he was one of the most dedicated actors I've seen in ages.
The Dark Knight will be an incredible movie.

Yeah it looks great. It looks like its going to be the best Batman movie in quite a while. Heath Ledger plays a good Joker, or at least from what I've seen.

I'll be seeing it soon after it comes out. I've never heard of Ledger before this (not into actors).

They didn't lock him up. He was a dedicated actor trying to perfect the role.
Quote from Wikipedia
To prepare for the role, Ledger lived alone in a hotel room for a month, formulating the character's posture, voice and psychology, and kept a diary, in which he recorded the Joker's thoughts and feelings to guide himself during his performance.

Essentially, what happened is he got so into the role that, with a bit of a schitzophrenic twist, he BECAME the Joker on camera, but he couldn't get OUT of the role, and became an insomniac.
