Hi, my name is Ann, I`m from Russia. Now I`m keen on some games (Ace Attorney, Professor Layton and Knock-knock). I hope I`m not alone in it, lol. (to be honest, IDK why the hell I`m telling about my favorite games here)

I`d been visiting stickpage, fluidanims, DD and other forums about animating for a long period of time some years ago. I was fascinated by some works and wanted to try animating too, but I was too shy and lazy back then. Now I don`t have as much time as I did, but anyway, I`d like... At least to try.

I`m more interested in fullbody animation than in stickmen. And I really like the idea of RHG. So I hope it will be OK to have a... non-stickman character. And to be an absolute loser in animating it >3<

By the way, I have some vague memories about two artists that had almost the same styles. They were drawing RHG characters and other stickmen, as I remember, and their paintings were... Smooth, dynamic, colourful, with great backgrounds. I tried using the search option, but for some reason it isn`t working correctly, and here`s what I got:

So if anyone understands, whom I`m talking about, please, give me a link to their accounts on DA, or tell me their nicknames, for example. I fell in love with their style of drawing some years ago and really would like to see, how much they have progressed ^_^

Good luck starting on fullbody animation, since we don't have much here. The few good animators we had moved onto Fullbody and so, they left the Stickfigure home ;n;

Oh yes, I do need luck. As a person that have done only like 4-5 short bad animations and wants to try fullbody already xD

For the artists you're looking for, it could be any of these guys:
Kixx - He's part of Zetabrand so he still comes onto SP, I just don't see him post much though.

Kensei - The original (or at least to my knowledge) anime badass on SP, although I'm pretty sure stopped coming here years ago though, he made Breaking Rust, check it out if you haven't yet, its an awesome anim.

Neon-Drane - You might be familiar of his name, he doesn't come on here, but he was pretty active back in FA, he was Xero's 'sensei' and he made a part in Zeta's Special Finisher collab.

Xero - He became inactive, in the later parts of 2013 :( . He was a pretty cool guy actually, awesome artist and animator too. He could be ranty or strict sometimes but he means well, especially to artists.

Drone - He still comes on sometimes, I haven't seen anything too recent from him though, athough he might have posted stuff that I missed.

BTW, I`ve thought up my RHG character and have drawn a picture of him already. But I have problems with animating the demo: I`m doing it veeery slowly, lol. Well, I just need to get used to the process, I suppose ^_^

Seems everyone here has greeted you really well. Hope you've checked the forum rules and the guides so you won't be lost by lots of threads here.

From my observation, seems there are indeed some non-stick figure RHGs so you can come up with your full body one if you like (and I'll definitely look forward to that). Personally have some hard times to finalize my RHG character so it'll take so much time to make an official thread for mine. >.<

A fullbody rhg is fine as far as I’m aware. And a lot of animators start with fullbody so don’t worry about that ;D . Good luck to you.

Nanite’s already mentioned most of the main artists but there’s one more I’d like to add.

As a side thing your English sounds fine, better than some people over here tbh ¬_¬
