The Rules

Sign-Ups

First, you must post in this thread to sign up for the game. Sign-ups continue until January the 7th (If you do not make the date, do not complain to me.) There are some requirements of signing up however.
You must be able to be online to post every 24 hours. This means people on vacation or going to be on vacation in a few days may not sign up. Seriously guys. This has become a constant problem. If you join this than you are fully aware that you have to stay dedicated. Otherwise you're wasting your time and everyone else's who is actually participating.
You must be able to follow all the rules and not complain about any part of it. If you have a dispute with another player, do it in this thread, keep it out of whatever thread you were killed in.
Don't be stupid.

How Game Will Be Run

After signups close, I will randomly arrange the participants in a circle of life and PM each member who their target is. I will not release this until the game comes to an end, so no one will know who is targeting them until it's too late. You may only assassinate your target, you cannot assassinate random players of the game. After you have been assassinated, you are eliminated from the game and you may not assassinate or receive targets anymore. After you assassinate your target, you will be assigned their target to assassinate.

The Act of Assassination

The general goal of the players is to be the last man standing. To do this, you must strive to stay alive and eliminate opposition at the same time. This is how that will work.

When you see a post made by your target in any section except the bat cave, check the time it was posted and the time it is now, located at the bottom of the page. If it has passed 30 minutes, the player is now unable to be killed and the post is to be ignored. However, if 30 minutes has not passed, you may assassinate the player. To assassinate, make a post quoting the person's post in the same thread and use this image:

Image

You may only assassinate someone once every 6 hours. Don't want everyone multikilling each other all at once.

KAMIKAZE KILLS

5 or less minutes after you have been killed, you can take the bastard with you by quoting his assassination with this:

Image

Once there are only two people left in the game, a Kamikaze kill is forbidden. Otherwise appointing a winner is nearly impossible.

THE POST CONTAINING THIS IMAGE IS THE ONLY OFF-TOPIC POST CONCERNING THIS GAME TO BE MADE IN THAT THREAD, UNLESS ANOTHER ASSASSINATION HAS BEEN MADE IN THE SAME THREAD. Don't derail the thread, take any quarreling in here. After that, copy the entire message and post it in this thread. I will cross off the victim in the list of players and in my circle of life. Do not attempt to delete your post to avoid being assassinated. No one likes cheaters and moderators can see deleted posts anyways.

Miscellaneous

To keep the flow of the game going, every player must post at least once every 24 hours. I can't keep up with every player so if you notice that your target has not posted within 24 hours, notify me and I will eliminate them. As well, any two players caught arguing outside this thread will be eliminated. And please, make sure to watch the time. I'll check the time the posts were made as best as I can but I would rather not see a bunch of failed assassination posts scattered across the forums.

ATTENTION!: Forum game-threads are the only safe threads. In these threads you can't be assassinated. However, you MUST post outside these threads once every 24 hours or you will be disqualified. This thread is a forum-game thread too, in case you're wondering.

GAME LOG:

1/7 5:37 AM: The game had started. All the assassins were now putting their forethought strategies into motion. Which would be the best? Who would come out on top? Well for some, time was of the essence. As Guitarii viewed a showing by quick kicks on his joint animation, Sans, a rookie newcomer, had snuck into the room. While the lights were dimmed and all eyes were on the screen, Sans rose from behind Guitarii's chair and slit his throat. Who cares for the mess as long as you get the kill?

1/7 8:45 AM: Poll Central. A forgotten place amongst the members of Stickpage. Trying to keep it active was like kicking a dead horse. It seemed so useless. At least, until now. Zed had already been here, conversating with those still willing to tread these lands. As he thought about leaving he spotted someone, his target, BoomerangReturns, come entering. How perfect was this? It was as if fate told Zed now is the time. Do not waste this opportunity before it's too late! With the low populace of Poll Central, there weren't many worries. Zed watched his target join in talks, while he himself continued to stay in his own. He then finally broke the hesitation and lunged himself at BoomerangReturns, stabbing him right through the chest. His reaction timing had little effect, as the knife had been driven clean through his torso. Others watched in horror as Zed slipped the knife out, and immediately left the premises. The second kill had been made.

1/7 9:41 AM: All the assassins had been aware that the first kill had been made. The second, still being revealed. If it hadn't hit anyone that the game was in session, it was about to. Some wouldn't ever dare think to come close to the Chat Thread, post-wise or assassination-wise, because all eyes were on it. To appear there was like a shout to the other participants that you were out in the open. Yet some have abstract ways of playing. GuardianTempest had decided he would not be afraid to associate himself in the Chat Thread. With little fear and a boatload of confidence, he had simply stepped his way in without worry. It had seemed too perfect. As he leaned up against the wall, an odd figure approached him. It could've been anyone wanting to Chat, anyone. But the blade had been drawn, and _Ai_ was making the strike. "I saw this coming from a mile away," GuardianTempest chuckled. Within only a moment, both had turned into a large crater in the wall and floor. The first kamikaze of the game occurred in the Chat Thread of all places. Now the whole world knew.

1/7 11:25 AM: The explosion heard round the world. The Chat Thread was in panic and shackles. Poll Central was under investigation. Viewing rooms under security. All of this was trembling indeed. Alas, Camila could not halt her modship duties because of these fears. Of course, it was only a matter of time before someone would take advantage of this. Camila was watching over the BSE as she normally would. She took a moment to step away from everything outside. As she took in a breath of fresh air, it would be her last. Her mood would not be faltered by death, she died with a smile as Fuzzybrain stood over her corpse, kicking it down the hill.

1/8 1:40 AM: It's been quiet. Too quiet. The explosion in the Chat Thread must've set something off. A sort of ripple through the participants that this game is in no way simple. Assassins have begun investigations. Studying each other while covering their own trails. Strategies have been entirely rearranged. And we haven't even begun the real deaths yet. Throughout this time someone had to have died, right? On cue, a police report has been released. One of the participants, destroyerimo, was found overdosed in his apartment. It had become apparent to the other players that destroyerimo had regretted being apart of the game since he enlisted. After seeing the deaths of those involved, his mind must've caved in. Will anyone else give in?

1/8 9:57 AM: The Stick Empires section. This place was it's own community. A large chunk of the Stickpage populace never even expected themselves to step foot in the area. So why would GamerXD8 expect himself to be followed there? He was in the midst of discussions involving the third race of elemental characters. Development and feedback are key to creating a game's prospectives. Alas, as GamerXD8 found himself studying the brand new concept, a long-awaited assassination were to occur. Blood, eerily spilled upon the floor. No knife, but a sword. From the shoulder down to the waist, diagonally across the torso. It set in, his assassin had got him. Gyohdon played the game exactly how it was supposed to be played, ruthlessly killing your target when they least expect it. The body had crumbled to the floor. Gyohdon, vanished. Waiting for his next target.

1/8 10:08 AM: Maybe the kill got to him. Maybe he regretted it. Maybe it was just too much. There weren't enough assumptions that could be made on exactly why Sans, the first person to assassinate someone in the game, ended up splat on the floor in an alleyway. He could've been pushed. Maybe his assassin got him. But none of the players, nor the one targeting him, had any clue as to what happened. Sans simply ended himself, on accident or on purpose, and has left the game wide open for anybody else's chance to win. Who will take advantage?

1/8 12:37 PM: Stone had been offering internships and crew positionings. Even though it was a risk, Sharp couldn't simply not respond. He thought maybe a quick application wouldn't hurt. There he sat at the desk, trying to write as quick and efficiently as possible. Every second was another chance closer to his demise. Should he stop here? No, something else needs to be added. Then another. Thoughts rushed through his head, he was not following his target. Was his assassin following him? Was he here? By chance? On purpose? The application was complete. He still lived. Maybe he was safe. He went up to the counter and gave his application. "Here you go," Sharp said. "Fool," Zed responded from behind the counter. A silent pistol was fired from under the table right into Sharp's gut. He fell to the floor and then was pulled under the counter where he no one had looked. He was later found bled out.

1/8 1:09 PM: Zed walked. Proud to be in the lead with 2 kills. It had only been 30 minutes since he left Sharp for dead. More than likely he's dead now. Zed hadn't even returned to receive his next target. As he walked down the sidewalk he bumped shoulders with a stranger, who then grabbed his arm. "I saw what you did back there," he whispered. Zed smirked, "So you're my assassin." Blood dripped on the floor. The puncture wound was deep in Zed's side. "If you were a good assassin, you'd know I wouldn't go out like this." The bomb ticked, GlacierSnake laughed, "I sorta saw this coming." Zed responded before his detonation, "I take that as a compliment." In only moments, both were blown to smithereens.

1/8 6:27 PM: The police tape blocked all pedestrians from seeing the sight. As cameras flashed and cops spoke to each other, the corpse of Camila was under subject of investigation. And while many were trying to see the crime scene, Tsang simply lay back in wonder. He had not yet made a strike in the game. He had instead had been studying, watching, learning. Camila's dead body suggested her murderer had been long gone. But Tsang knew, her assassin hadn't run off very far. He was still in the shadows somewhere. Stalking a new target. Could it be Tsang? The irony of seeing both his targets in the same location. He wouldn't be dumb enough to make that mistake though. The crowd's view went in the other direction, not looking back whatsoever. Although a mod had been killed in her own workplace, it was ironic that her replacement was involved in the same game. Fate has a funny way of working. Yet he could not be distracted. He continued to manage his desk when a phone rang in the back. "BSE, Tsang speaking." The other line hesitated, "Where's Camila?" He wasn't sure what to say. "She's not available right now." The other line faded, "It was her assassin, wasn't it?" What? "How would you know that?" Someone stepped into the office behind him, "Because, I am one." Tsang turned around and was met by a throwing knife to the head, flung by Gyohdon. He watched the body drop and smirked, not a single soul looked in this direction. A murder at a crime scene, who would've thunk?

1/9 7:30 AM: Every assassin was now formulating strategies more than ever. Some hid in the shadows, others in plain sight. Some didn't hide at all. The game had fallen quiet. It was another black zone. Like the last one, someone had to have come out dead. The trend continued when a police report was released about Ghombeat, who had his apartment raided. Upon returning home he was swarmed by a SWAT team and thrown behind bars. When he was checked up on later that day, he had been found hung in the classic fashion over a fallen chair.

1/9 12:51 PM: A police raid? This doesn't make sense. For the first time ever, the police have intervened with the game. Does this mean stop? No. It just means more of a challenge. Do not only escape your assassin, escape the law. As if Ghombeat wasn't example enough, the cops wanted to make sure this death toll would halt. Fuzzybrain was quickly gathering his things. He knew that it was only a matter of time before they came busting into his home. He grabbed his weapons, research, and any idea he had of what would point to him as evidence of an assassin. He planned to hide out in some of the lesser parts of the city, where cops ignored and vaguely searched. But running out the front door of his home, he was met with drawn arms across the sidewalk. "Hands in the air and knees on th

Not playing, but just gonna say this might be the hardest forum game I've ever played.
