I think you pretty much nailed the style although it's a quite advanced one (smooth, good flow etc.), good work but i think you should develop it to your own style so that others can identify you in the future if you know what i mean.

Those chain things the stick was using, all of that was weird

But yeah if you were trying to imitate PL then you got it buddy, I could tell. Nice one. Mate. Bud.

You did a good job on this and I could clearly see PL's style. It is hard for me to cnc because you are using someone else's style. That's not to say that it's bad though.
