Okay so I've gotten tired of people saying that an animation is better than another because it has angles. T___T
Now I'm not saying that angles are bad or I hate angles, but rather that it's come to the point that they are becoming "better" than just o' 2D.
Too many times have I seen in The Battle Section. "He has angles so he's better" or "Angles always win".
There are animators who rarely or never even do angles. Not saying they can't, it's just not their style. And they could
easily man handle a lot of these anglesuckers. So yeah. Here's a collab saying that 2D is just as good as Angles.
Oh you don't believe?
Let's See.
Drache is a beast without angles.
Mango is.
Kidkei is.
Let's not forget
Terkoiz
So yeah. :I
This collab is NOT about trying to prove that straight up 2D is better than angles.
It's about (possibly) unrusting and honing your 2D skills. People are always trying to throw an angle in somewhere
to cover up their flaws. And I am not excluded. It makes things easier and it's quick and cheap. But you gain habit of that after
awhile and you start to lose skill because you're abusing angles at that point.
Now if you prefer ALL angles, that's your style and your decision. I just recommend at least practice once in awhile something different.
