Post your new year's resolutions! If nothing bad happens within this year and this thread doesn't get deleted/binned/locked, maybe we'll bump this thread on Jan 1, 2015 and see whether we've made some progress or not. If this picks up or something I'll add everyone's resolutions on the first post so it'd be easier to reread this when you need to.
Also, if I don't get banned within this year, I call dibs on making next year's thread. >:(
Mine would be:
to actually study instead of relying on my classmates so much
to have a healthier diet
Your turn guys.

Quote from devi8: I will never masb~(NO. I will not say it. I don't want to put on mature content. But I will follow through this one.)
I don't masturbate, but based on the testimonials on those who do, (i.e. every other human male person) that's impossible. And I heard it's actually healthy if you masturbate.

I suddenly feel an extreme urge to laugh.

A male that says he doesn't masturbate is a male living a lie.

I honestly don't.

The only word I can think of that begins with "Masb" is Masbate which is an island in the Philippines. Is your resolution never go to Masbate?

Not really. It's not impossible that there are people out there that don't do something that they are supposed to do.

I have no new years resolution.
I do not need a new year to make a resolution. It seems like an excuse for weak people to flex their flimsy resolve publicly, then not follow through on their own shallow self promises. You do not schedule change, it just happens. But for the sake of not seeming like a complete dick bag, just partial, here's my resolutions that have nothing to do with the time of year.
I will be better than before, I will be the best person I can be. I will love every human, regardless of who they are or their station in life. And I will do the things most people only dream of.
This is my resolve.

I also don't understand the need for new years resolutions.
Just do it and stop being a faggot. There's nothing special about waiting for the new year.
If you haven't already done it, you're probably never going to do it. And talking about doing it isn't going to help you.

Well it doesn't really have to be resolutions that you came up with just because it's a new year, just state something you've already decided on/started doing and lets see what you manage to do within the year.
Well that's not really always true. If I don't quit immediately after saying I'm going to quit smoking, that doesn't mean I'm never going to quit smoking. Talking about it actually helps a little, because now at least other people know you made a promise to yourself and you'll have no excuses if you don't manage to do it. I mean, yeah if a fat girl just says, "I'm going to get thin this year" because she thought she needed to have a new year's resolution then it probably won't happen. But let's say she's actually been thinking about doing it, and saying it out loud to other people helps her push herself to do it, then I think it can really happen.
Let's not poopoo on the entire concept of having new year's resolutions because it kinda ruins the fun.

I suspect Cronos is a lot like me in the regard that he has a hard time understanding extrinsically motivated people.
Embarrassingly enough, I didn't understand a human could even be extrinsically motivated until a few years ago.
I used to have a hard time fathoming that someone could feel they want to do something, think they want to do something and not just do it. Curb stomping every obstacle in their path until they achieve it.

Smile that's entirely true. If you haven't done it yet, then there's obviously still a chance you will eventually do it.
But just how important can it be to you if you haven't done it after all this time?

Well I haven't stalked into a public place and mowed down countless innocence with an assault grade weapon yet, but believe me.
I STILL WANT TO REALLY BADLY.
