any good animation programs?

Hey you guys im completely new as you probably guessed, but what im asking for is basically in the title are there any good animation programs i should get or try? (i have a chrome book lap top if thats important)

lol almost everyone here uses either pivot, or macromedia flash professional 8, or cs5 or cs6, there the best right now. hope i helped bro

2D/Drawn
Pivot - Easy to use and free.
Easytoon - A bit harder to use than Pivot but is also free and more versatile than Pivot especially if you have a Graphics Tablet
Flash - Its not free, but has most of the features from both of the previously mentioned programs and is more versatile than them. Most of the animators here use that.
3D/rigged
Blender - Its free and is pretty good for a free program
Autodesk Maya - I heard it has more features than Blender, I haven't tried this yet since its not free.
Autodesk 3dsMax - Like Maya, though it has less features and is more affordable, haven't tried this either.
