Hey all,
I'm new to animating and.. drawing in general. I seem to be having a lot of problem keeping my stickmen the same size from frame to frame when i try to make them move.
Any tips regarding this?
Thanks

Im not sure if you are using the feature called "onionskin". If not you can find it right under your timeline. Watch below.
To turn on onion skin: http://prntscr.com/2hm16n
How it will look: http://prntscr.com/2hm25i
That should help you maintain the size of the stickman.

It can also help to use guidelines. Make three horizontal lines across the frame, one at knee height, one at waist height, and one at shoulder height, and stick roughly to those proportions (remembering that you'll be dipping below the guidelines when you bend your knees or whatever.

thanks for the tips guys. Yeah currently I use onion and one guideline at the hip but more guidelines would be helpful. I mainly have trouble getting the size correct when people are horizontal or getting the limbs the right size when i bend them and what not.

This thing is kinda like a bunch of guidelines... And you don`t have to make an additional layer and draw them.
Another variant is onion skin. Or just use '<' and '>' buttons to move to previous/next frames and see if everything`s alright with the size. I use both options, it helps to understand, how the movement is going.
OR use "keyframes". I mean, draw the main poses of the motion of your stickfigure and then animate everything between that main frames. It might help too.
