Help for hits and kicks?

I really need help with kicks and hits. When I make a stick figure punch it turns out choppy and doesn't come out as I expected it to.

Can anyone send me a FLA that I can see for the moves, so I instead could do the same?
Or should I just practice more?

Dude. Force. Don't over smooth it.
you should practice more instead. Go watch tutorials, observe some animations like Endo vs Alpha or Ice Cream 3 or what not.

Thanks guys, I really got better after seeing all this. I also just heard of starting head first, and holy shiz, it's easier and smoother then i expected. >->
