Ok, by Modern medical conditions I mean things like ADD, Depression, Restless Leg Syndrom, etc. Should they really be considered "conditions"? I think their just excuses for drug companies to shove another pill down your throat.

NOTE: I'm not picking on anyone who has these conditions, I'm merely questioning the fact that everyone makes them such a big deal by making 20 different pills to take just to get rid of it.

All of these are psycological conditions, and it's always hard to understand psycological conditions without experiencing them. I have ADHD for sure, but have no medication, so my mind bounces from place to place, as does my body. It makes it very hard to stay focused on any one thing. That's why it's taking so damn long to finish Dungeon Escape II.

Drugs can't cure depression.

I know from my own experience.

And yes, they should be called conditions. But they should be healed using therapy intead of shoving medication into throats.

I hate it when people claim a mental illness when they are just being lazy or something.

There's a big difference between laziness and a mental illness, yes. With lazyness, you CAN focus on things if you want, but you choose not to.
With ADD and ADHD, you CAN NOT focus on any one thing, no matter how much you try.

i see what your saying with the ADD and such, because its true like who the **** isnt ADD anymore. i think the problem is that they are diagnosing people at a low standard. so there are some people who truly are ADD and cant focus at all, but i think for the most part there isn't. because i can focus when i need to( test or any that shit ) but i'm just a lazy person.

I can't even focus on tests anymore. I'll be writing then I'll see that I have some dirt under my fingernail, and I'll start getting the dirt out, then I'll twirl my pencil and think about why scantrons haven't changed in years, then I'll start remembering the cartoon What Ever Happened To Robot Jones, then I'll think about Samurai Jack...

You get the idea.

My mind can't stay put.

ADD and such are real conditions it's just that their are plenty of people being diagnosed with them who don't have them.

Because apparently it's easier to say "I have ADD and can't do nothing about it than swallow this pill" then to say "I'm lazy and I need to get my ass into gear" or to say "I'm in a really stressful work environment right now and I'm having problem thinking so I need to do something to relax."

I don't know if I have ADD but I know I have problems focusing quite often, and it is really quite frustrating.
