around causing havoc, arrives at the place that'd been designated his "home," only to find a note posted to the door. "What the-?" he said with mild annoyance. He'd never particularly enjoyed notes. Reading in general wasn't much fun unless there were lots of pictures. Add to the fact that this had been sent to him without a way to return it, and he was bothered even more. Tearing it down, he opened his door and threw the letter onto the small table, heading to get something to drink. After settling on lemonade and vodka, he returned and plopped down on his couch, picking up the letter and giving it a read.
Bek's Crazy Letter (Click to Show)

Bek took a moment after reading the letter to settle his nerves, before letting out a little laugh. "I really, really hate these people." His hand slowly traveled to his hidden eye, his fingers lightly touching the crystalline piece that somehow, he could still see through. His fingers dully glowed to it. He'd always noticed that there was more to the eye, but he refused to acknowledge what it may be. He was sick of it, and even more, he was sick with whoever sent the letter to him. Though he never considered himself particularly private, even he had personal things he wanted to remain hidden from view.

He'd have to figure out who this admirer was, and he'd have to have a long, long conversation with them. But that could wait until later. For now, he needed more of this alcohol stuff. He may have been unable to get intoxicated, but the burning it sent through his body always helped to edge off the stress he felt. Lately, he'd been feeling it a lot more. There was just too much going on, what with dealing with memories of his brother, some of his memories of before he was on that battlefield resurfacing, and more and more, he questioned just who and what he was.

"UUUUUGH, why are things so damn serious?!" He smashes his fist through the table, and kicks the remains away. "Dammit... whatever. If whoever sent this letter wants to try playing with me, then they're open to it. Life's just a game, and I'm the one playing it."

long with the morning sun as she quietly slipped out of bed. The warm rays of the sun gently warmed the city's cold air and roused it's sleeping citizens. Haku opened wrapped her blanket around her tightly as she stepped outside and walked to the mail box whose flag signaled her in its direction. Her raised curiously as she opened the tin box and pulled out a fancy pink envelope with no address or stamp on it. In fact, there was no writing on it at all.

The cold began to seep through her covers as she tucked her mail under her arm and slipped inside. A small beat of her heart jumped at the chance that perhaps she had an admirer. She quickly sat down on her couch and opened the envelope as her fingers nimbly opened the cleanly folded paper.

"It’s nearly Valentine’s Day, and I just needed to get in touch with you. I needed to bring myself to your attention, just to alert you of my presence…and of my feelings. You hold such power, such pride and strength. I can’t stop replaying that moment I first saw those searing green eyes!"

Haku pulled the covers above her nose, slightly covering her face as if to hide from the letter itself, but her eyes continued to flicker from line to line.

"I’ve watched you, admiring from afar, fearful and constantly waiting until I could stare into those eyes again. I watch your every moment yet I have seen them but on few occasions.

You have such strength and such potential! Why do you cling to such a frail girl? She hates blood, I’ve seen it, I’ve seen the fear and disgust in her eyes when she strikes flesh. But in yours I see lust for greatness, and for a lingering taste of power."

Her eyes blinked rapidly in confusion and her brow furrowed together as she uncovered her face. She read the line over again, but she had not misread it. It was obvious that this person wasn't talking to her, but who was this letter for then?

"I can provide that, I could be so much better than her! Why do you waste your time? Why do you allow her to squander your time, wasting effort and energy for that ridiculous orphanage! You could take all their lives and be bursting at the seams in satisfaction-the sweet taste of children’s souls dancing across your tongue."

Haku could feel a vein popping from the side of her head, Ridiculous? Wasted time? Taking the souls of children?[/I] Whoever this was, they had better hoped that she never got her hands on them. Her eyes continued to skim through the letter.

"She is weak, she tires and holds you back from your true capabilities!"

Who am I holding back?

"She has trapped you, there can be no other answer."

Whom have I trapped? I don't even remember capturing anyone in my life![/I]

"Perhaps if my efforts are enough, I may serve as your mighty vessel one day."

Vessel? What was she...? No, it couldn't be. Haku put down the letter and ran to her room as she burst through the door. Her sword laid undisturbed, peacefully by her bedside. She let out a sigh of relief as she picked it up and made her way back to the couch as she picked up the letter again.

How this person find out about...it? She was sure its identity was kept under lock and key. Closing her eyes, she thought back to the times that it had been released. Once? Twice? Four...only four times had it forcibly taken over her since she had been cursed by the being with her sword and none had ever lived to once it had come out...except her handler. Her mind lingered at the thought, but she shook it away. There was no way Chris would pull something like this. The letter had been written to passionately for him to be able to do.

She continued to read.

"Listen girl, and know I will never stop until I surpass you in every area. You will never know me, never see me coming but know I will be your end, and you will be punished for your transgressions against him."

A small his of air escaped through Haku's teeth. Transgressions? I've been cursed by this demon. It's not like I've wanted this life.[/I]

"You cannot foresee the tortures I will inflict upon you, Haku, nor the imponderable ecstasy I will experience in doing so. I will free him from you, witch! All those souls you’ve kept from him, the starvation you thrust upon him, all those wasted hours, you will suffer for. You shall not live to see another century!"

Haku's mind wandered back to the years of starvation she had to live through as she clutched her stomach. Memories of being locked away in a dungeon slowly floated back to her. Unable to see, unable to feel the warm sun...unable to eat or move. You have no idea what it feels like to starve for fifty years and not be able to eat anything.[/I]

"You have my word. I eagerly await the day when we may meet, and if I am not satisfying once I’ve rid you of this fool, I will die in bliss, ended by your mighty hand. I exist only to aid you in whatever you wish to pursue.

Sincerely,
Anonymous"

Haku closed the letter and neatly folded it as the air around her shifted uncomfortably. She tossed the letter into the air and the wind rushed towards it like a savage dog, tearing the white parchment into ribbons before carrying it out the window.

She curled her knees into her chest and hugged them tightly as unsorted thoughts shifted through her mind. What she had hoped would be a precious letter to keep, had just turned out to be another zealot who was obsessed with the thing inside of her. If only they knew...

Haku laid a hand on the sword and unsheathed the blade. If only they knew that she and it could never be separated, ever since she had picked up the blade the binding was complete and she could no longer return to a normal life.

She sheathed the blade and placed it beside her as she buried her face into her knees as images of her long forgotten past began to come back. Painful memories of all those she had met and loved long ago stained with blood.

Happy Valentines Day... [/spoiler]

e, mail clutched in her hand as her arms attempted to keep the thick woven blanket from falling off her shoulders. Her messy hair had been even more tangled by the vicious winter winds, and her sweater hung off of one shoulder as the blanket sagged in her arms.

"Next time you get the mail." She grumbled, tossing on the coffee table and quickly returning to the fading spot of warmth she'd created on the couch.

"You still aren't used to the cold yet, eh?" Seb chuckled, shoving a mug of hot chocolate in her direction as The Gentleman set to sifting through the mail.
One hastily addressed and rush delivered letter caught his attention.

"Ah, Sabine?" He tossed it gently to her lap with a curious look at the pink envelope. "For you?"

"Ooh what've we got here? A love letter?" Rykosar teased with a raspy cackle as he peeked over the edge of the couch.

The two stared at her as she groggily looked at her mail, then back up at the boys who seemed to be expecting something.

"What?" She inquired, hastily tearing open the envelope, and staring at the paper she held in her hand, still feeling the men's eyes on her she glared at them. "You know it's rude to stare." Still they continued until she let out a sigh and began reading it aloud. "Nosey bastards."

To the most amazingly wonderful Sabine
OMG! Now that you’re in an actual clan I can finally send you a letter to someplace where I KNOW you will actually receive it instead of just the wRHG lounge. And you’re in ACTASANCTORUM nonetheless! The very first wRHG clan in StickPage City! Only the best clan would fit the best gladiator.
[/i]

Sabine stared. "Who...? 'OMG'? Really?" She continued as the boys burst into laughter, huddling behind the couch to read over her shoulder. "Looks like you've got a fan!"

I just can’t help but feel a wave of arousal. However, the most beautiful part of you… is your shoulder blades.[/i]

The laughter died as the group read the next line. Uncomfortable silence surrounded, a few awkward chuckles slipping out as The Gentleman elected to read the next few lines, describing Sabine’s tattoos and various other aspects.

“They know where I work…” Sabine stated.

Maybe sometime after you leave that caf you work on the center of the city, the one where you always wave at the old lady who’s passing by on the other side of the street when you’re closing shop. “Coucher du Soleil”, right? Maybe I could buy you something to eat? Show you a nice place where they play great music and serve this really nice pancake with honey, ice cream and hot chocolate on top of it.[/i]

“And he wants to take you to I-hop, apparently.”Sebastian attempted to lighten the thickening air of tension.

“At least they’re, um...thorough?” Sebastian attempted, earning a look from Sabine that clearly displayed how not comforting his statement was.

“Oh, and they have a nice secluded cabin. Great!” Sabine muttered, not bothering to share the view of the letter to the group behind her.

“They know about my rotting too! How do they know I’ve never even mentioned…” Sabine stopped short, glancing up to look at the boys. Puzzled expressions met her gaze, to which she simply cleared her throat and finished the letter.

Also, for the last part, I wanted to ask you about the creation of charms. I mean, after I made some research on you, I started taking an interest in voodoo religion as well and began dabbling in charms and rituals to try out their effects, but recently, I started feeling frequent attacks of dizziness, several times a day and, and this may just be paranoia, I think I’m hearing voices.

It may be nothing of importance, but maybe you know something.

Without anything else to say for now, I wish you the best, Sabine.

Sincerely, Anonymous[/i]

“So, you’ve received quite the flattering letter from a RHG employee-“ Rykosar began to be cut off by Sebastian.

“Who wants to take you to eat pancakes and live in a creepy cabin-“

“And has knowledge of your…’rotting’…” They all looked at her quizzically.

“And to top it off he’s been hexed as well.” Sabine concluded.

The letter was quickly quartered and held over one of her many candles. She turned her back to the boys and headed for the stairs. “That’s it! If you need me I’ll be hiding in my room for the rest of eternity!” Sabine declared this loudly, before pulling out her phone to contact her protection officer.

“Sincerely, Anonymous’? More like ‘Yours Truly, Stalker.” Sabine huffed, as the phone rang. The rest of the clan stood silently staring at the smoldering remnants of the letter.

“Quite the fan, indeed.” Rykosar grinned through his scars, and lumbered off, leaving the other two men to shrug unsurely and head their separate ways.

Gladstone was in his room on the clan house when he started reading the letter. Initially, he was amused and maybe even somewhat creeped out, but he quickly grew serious before widening his eyes in surprise throughout the letter. It wasn't your usua

I feel oppressed

My wRHG lacks any intelligence- it's pretty much an animal. He can't read/write/understand anything 2D because he's practically blind.

Is there a way around this I wanna have fun :(

Hm. It could be sent to the corporation and someone there could read it, or if your stalker is stalking Handyman to the point of knowing the next victim, they could send the letter there in hopes that they'd read it, and you could have them responding to it.

Eh, I'll join too. Always fun to have a stalker. I think I'll go for a Yuno-style stalker (abridged version).

I'm not going to join yet since my schedule is shaky at best but would the target recipient only be part of the participants or can it be outside?

There would have to be access to this character and ample details about them.

For the extra one? No, that can be to anyone you want, participating or not whether you're participating in the rest of the event or not. It felt like, hey, as long as we're righting letters, if you've got something real to say you can say that too if you want.

And in other news, names have been shuffled; you can expect a PM saying who you're writing to in the next roughly five minutes.

EDIT: On hold for a day tops until a solution is found

EDIT II: Devi has withdrawn, expect a PM within the next 5 minutes

EDIT III: PMs all officially sent. If you have any questions, PM or post at any time.
