Last time we done this challenge it was a great success! So it's time to do this again and see what people can do without one of the most important things to use in animation!

The no onion skin challenge is pretty obvious by it's name. It is a speedbattle with one rule added to it. You are not allowed to use onion skin (ALL 3 OF THEM) from start to finish when doing this speedbattle. In animation, we rely highly on onion skin and we can all admit that people even as good as hyun, oxob, terkoiz and even stone will not be able to get such a great result to their animation without onion skin. So one day, I came up with a question to myself.. "What happened if people didn't use onion skin for their animations?". I tried it myself at first, and the result was quite bad lol. So, in 2013, i made the first onion skin challenge speedbattle and many people were saying that "that challenge it suicide" and would be impossible. But with the results people did, I think every underestimated themselves.

Ok, enough chatting about the past of this. Let's get on with the rules and conditions to be able to do this challenge!

RULES

1. No onion skin from the start of the speedbatle to the finish. If you do, you will be disqualified. This goes for the outline onion skin AND the "edit multiple frames" onion skin. All 3 types of the onion skins are banned in this speedbattle

2. You must be live (you can use join.me, or livestream, or twitch, As long as you are live).

3. You cannot use any alternative ways of animating. This means animating with nothing but tweens or using keyframes and slightly adjusting them (If you have seen poppetj3d animate, then you know what I'm talking about)

4.You must be on the IRC channel #onion when the event starts. This is where you will post your links to your livestreams.

5. No other sneaky ways to do an "alternative onion skin" (This challenge was set up to see how well you can do without onion skin, not find a way to cheat)


Other things you may want to know

The dimensions, FPS and flash version can be any.

And if some of you don't feel like doing this, i can use your help! I need "observers" to watch over the people who are participating in the competition. I am just one person, and I can't be doing all of this at the same time (my computer just won't handle it), so please do if you can :D
