'cause I'm cool like that (Click to Show)
OK so I've been lacking the passion for writing in the past 7 months or so, so don't expect anything extremely good from the get go. But I really wanted to let you know that I'm still around and I'm planning on writing again, so even expect some battles soon, besides the regular stories. This is just a quick story. Enjoy :D

The actual story (Click to Show)
Silence. All Serena heard was the suffocating silence.
Her face laid down on the cold and solid rock of the cave as she tried once again to fall asleep. The last few months were horrible: food was lacking, and whenever she went outside the fears kept coming back to her. The fear that her “friends” could find her wandering around in the forest and interrogate her.
As she closed her eyes, the vivid image of Lexel, Sebastian and Cowboy quickly appeared in her mind. They caught her sneaking out of the cave. She was somewhat pleased to see them; but as soon as she could have started approaching them, she would freeze. Her legs would refuse to move, as they were glued to the round. And so they were: her feet would sink into the solid ground, almost as it quickly mutated from dirt to quicksand, slowly dragging her down.
She screamed for the help of her clanmates, but nobody would come to save her. They just stood there, looking at her sinking, with a blank and emotionless expression on their faces. Their eyes completely empty, almost as if their souls have been pulled out from those human shaped forms. It seemed that they kept muttering something.
“Why did you left us? Why did you abbandoned us? Weren’t we good enough for you? You’re a monster. You left us when we needed you. And now you shall pay!”
Serena snapped out of her sleep, waking in cold sweat with tears running down her eyes. Her thoughts blurred by that dreadful feeling that she knew oh so well. Fear.
She quickly scanned her surroundings for any suspicious movements, and instantly calmed down after that. It became a ritual for her at this point: not a night went by without her waking up in tears, dreaming of her lost comrades. Her lost friends.
Lexel, with his unconventional way of thinking.
Sebastian, one of the most loyal individuals she ever met, despite his quite disturbing desire for chocolate.
Bodacious, a very simple and rough guy, but at the same time very energetic and funny.
Tears quickly rushed to her, forcing her to stand up and sit, thinking back at the good times she passed with them. The feels were overwhelming, as hinted by the tears pouring down from Serena’s eyes. Then she began.
Her mouth slowly opening, her vocal chords vibrating, releasing a beautiful but melancholic melody, that echoed through the tunnels of the cave. She wasn’t very talented at anything else, as she decided to do what she was better at: singing.
The song was spectacular; its notes were gentle and soft, having a touch of sadness and pain. Serena was letting the emotions flow, leaving herself to the embrace of creation. Tears running down her cheeks, her voice trembling every now and then, although keeping the purity of the song itself.
She slowly laid down again, singing the last suave notes, and fell asleep.
