I'm hoping to get into radio broadcasting, and from there get into actual production, but I don't know yet.

Just the fact that I'm making music at the level I am now, and I've only been doing this casually for around 9 months with no knowledge of music theory, I think I can do much better once I learn synth programming and theory.

You could be a programmer (which does require math) or an animator (which make more money by the way) or design music or do storyboards or write the story, etc. You have to think about what you specifically want to do you can't just say 'Game Designer'.
