Chances are if someone's kicked out, it's probably going to be because of inactivity. If that's the case, it's more likely to be more closer to the beginning of the game. Also, many games show their true colors near the end of their cycles, Rabbit Doubt being a prime example (and a personal example for you already). If you really just want to see what this whole game is about, you'd wait for the whole thing to end first.

lmao I guess yeah, but i'm just going to keep my bench for reasons stated, but since im ever so curious, what were your reasons for benching?

I'm not sure if I have enough time to participate, so if Hewitt gives me the green light, I'll know by then whether or not I can play. And since I participated in both Mafia and Rabbit Doubt, I thought it'd be better to give other players a chance to play, especially considering there are less spots available.

Seems reasonable, and as seeing as how i also participated in both of those games, this is could also be a reason as why to I am benching.

It actually depends on the number of players but the average is round down. 6 players will have 2 spies. 9 will have 4. Don't worry, I will announce the number of spies well before a game begins.


To everyone who is saying they will bench: this is not a choice. The bench is for players who really want in but can't because the slots are full. Being on the bench just means that you will be pushed in when some slot is out and when no one confirms, you will be in the game no matter what. So unless you are really sure you won't bail, don't say "Bench Me". I will filter the benches anyway, but to save me some time, I'd like to hear your decisions again.

In that case, I'll just spectate this round.

I apologize for the strictness in the Bench rule this time around. Often times in past games, I've had benched mafia players who when it came time to ask them to replace an inactive, were inactive themselves which was terribly frustrating on my end.

Holy shit posts are filling up quick. I've got my diamond encrusted, gold-plated armor ready Hewitt, I'm good to go!

Scrap that third win condition, but keep the "fifth is always approved" rule.

You should probably do it anyway, if it's not too hard, for any confused people. I must admit, I to process some bits for a while to have a picture of how it would work.

I've also updated the signups. We can technically begin now but obviously I will wait for the others on the other side of the world.
