Lets just say you want to animate a ball going in a curve and you are a lazy bitch. Is it possible to motion tween in a curve?

you can use guide lines to do it. Just draw the curves you want your ball to go with pencil in a layer above the ball. Then , right click > guide
and before doing the right click make sure u place the symbol (ball) right at the start point and the end point of the pencil curve. That should work!
hope it helped.

you can*
if you right click on the layer, and give it a motion guide, then you can draw a line, and it should follow it.
you might have to play around with it first though...

There are two methods.
The first is for more free-lance curves, which is using motion guides.
The second is to move the anchor point (the small circular node in the centre of the object, move it between the objects place, and it's desired destination. Now the symbol's direction will be anchored to this point, which will give you a simple curve.
