What is the point of writing an argument that is ineffective and false?
Jul 11, 2008 8:48 PM #183938
So do you want us to write it for you or something?

y'know,..... I have no Idea.......
I think they want it so they can feed it to their dogs....
OR
they want it so it proves you know nothing about something that still exists in the pit of nothingness, yet that makes it something.....(this is an ineffective argument(in the making))

I have no clue why they want an ineffective argument, I'll try to dig one up......
..A False Argument(an argument witch is false); taken from Alice in wonderland.
"Serpent!" screamed the Pigeon.
"I'm not a serpent" said Alice indignantly. "Let me alone!"
"Well! What are you?" said the Pigeon. "I can see you're trying to invent something!"
"I-I'm a little girl", said Alice.
"A likely story indeed!" said the Pigeon, in a tone of deepest contempt. "No, no! You're a serpent and there's no use denying it. I suppose you'll be telling me next that you've never tasted an egg!"
"I have tasted eggs, certainly," said Alice who was a truthful child; "but little girls eat eggs quite as much as serpents do, you know."
"I don't believe it," said the Pigeon; "but if they do, why, they're a kind of serpent; that's all I can say."
I took note that the Pigeon believes that anything that eats eggs is a serpent. I'm going to take it like the argument is ineffective because the assumption is false.

A. Wright an argument which is ineffective because it is false.
My friend can fly because gravity does not exist.
B. Wright an argument which is ineffective because it is unrelated to the conclusion.
I believe you should give your toy to that white child because black people were given human rights.
C. Wright an argument which is effective
I should not be doing this homework because it cannot offer me any improvement in my literary skills.
